alkalies. It is a good valve stem packing.

The packing is a combination of tough high strength ARAMID fibre yarn on corners and PTFE lubricated yarn on the sides. The positioning of tough ARAMID yarn with negligible friction of PTFE yarn renders the packing best suited for high pressure rotating and reciprocating applications.The packing constituents have very low thermal expansion,good dimensional stability and creep resistance under high pressure applications.

A combinations of tough ARAMID fibre in the corner and core strands and PTFE GRAPHITE yarn on the seam strands.This structure generates maximum resistance to extrusion;simultaneously the graphite PTFE yarn on the sides of the packing imparts thermal conductivity and lubricity for cooler shaft running.
